– under 2,000 words

Entry Fee:  
The entry fee is $10.00 (US dollars) per submission. The fee must be paid by mail. Please send a money order, cashier’s check or personal check made out to Blue Bus Publishing to:

The editors of Journal from the Heartland are judging this contest. Our main criterion for selection is quality. though we always look for human interest and originality.

Include name, phone number, and email address in the body of your email, also please provide a 2-3 sentence bio describing yourself. Type “Writing Contest Entry” in the subject line.
